This course is aimed at programmers who are developing or maintaining

looking to update their skills to the modern RPGLE syntax; the
RPG Crossover course (ISR4X) is available for this purpose.
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Use data areas and data structures.
- Code and use execution time, compile time and multi-dimensional arrays.
- Use pointers and storage management.
- Use subprocedures within RPG IV programs.
- Pass parameters to and from subprocedures.
- Use commitment control in update programs.
- Use and define activation groups.
Programmers, programmer/analysts and senior programmers
who develop and maintain applications using RPG IV on the iSeries.
The iSeries RPG IV PROGRAMMING course
should be attended prior to this course. A period of hands on programming using
